Created in part of my 2020 12-Month Series, comprised of twelve 60cm by 80cm oil paintings, February depicts the sun setting behind a winter forest in the Rouge Valley beside my childhood home. Walks at sunset after a fresh snowfall always promise a terrific array of colour through the landscape and a sense of quiet tranquility.
